Dear Tiffany, I know you wrote the letter. The only way to beat my crazy was by doing something even crazier. Thank you. I love you. I knew it from the moment I saw you. I’m sorry it took me so long to catch up. I just got stuck. Pat.
Because you’re important to me
This scene is important to me. Laurel doesn’t feel the need to tell Oliver that she knows his secret, instead she chooses to tell him how important he is. This is Laurel starting to understand Oliver, and with that understanding comes forgiveness. She’s telling him that it’s okay, she gets it now and she still loves him (platonically).
If there’s one thing for sure, it’s that Oliver needs more people to understand him, to know him. He hides himself away from most people which is why Olicity is so important. He needs that connection and that comfort, someone to tell him it’s okay, that he’s okay and that he matters.
I loved this scene
"the first time we met, we hated each other." "no, you didn’t hate me, i hated you. the second time we met, you didn’t even remember me" "i did too, i remembered you. the third time we met, we became friends." "we were friends for a long time." "and then we weren’t." "and then we fell in love."
